WHO CAN REGISTER TO VOTE IN CT?
To be eligible to vote in CT you must
  1. Be a U.S. Citizen
  2. Live in Connecticut
  3. Be at least 17 years old and turning 18 before election day

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF I'M REGISTERED TO VOTE?

How do I register to vote?
You can register online using Connecticut's online voter registration tool by visiting https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do. 
Can I Register on Election Day?
Yes. Click here to view a list of 2016 Elect Day Registration locations by town. The 2017 list will be posted as soon as it is available.

Special Situations

I'VE BEEN CONVICTED OF A FELONY, CAN I STILL VOTE?
Individuals with felony convictions can vote in Connecticut once their incarceration and parole has ended and any fines related to their conviction are paid. ​​
I'm in the military and will be deployed overseas, how do i vote?
Military and Overseas voters can request an absentee ballot. Click here for more information.

Great question! The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization. We're a dedicated group of volunteers working to encourage the active and informed participation of citizens in government. To achieve this goal of engaging the community, we ask each candidate a set of questions that address the most pressing issues in the community. We print the candidates responses exactly as they are given to us.
