Disability voting rights laws ensure that people with disabilities have access to voter education, registration and the polling place, as well as use of the voting machine. The purpose of all these requirements is to create EQUAL OPPORTUNITY in every aspect of the voting process.

REMEMBER TO BRING ID TO THE POLLS
  •  ​You are required to provide one of the following: A Social Security card or a preprinted form of identification which shows name and address, or name and signature, or name and photo.
  • Acceptable forms include: driver’s license, library card, bill addressed to you at your home, passport, personal check with name and address on it. ​​
  • If you do not have any of the listed documents, in most cases, you may sign an affidavit in lieu of presenting ID.
